Organizing 2.0 brings together hundreds of leaders, organizers, fundraisers, techies and activists to share our collective wisdom, skills, and talents. There will be workshops, trainings, discussions, consulting and networking opportunities, visionary speakers, and a provocative debate around strategy and practices.Over two days in Manhattan, we will bring together hundreds of people to learn from each other, share stories and strategies and build our skills, organizations and movements. Marie-Marguerite Sabongui

Marie-Marguerite is a strategist at Purpose, a home for building 21st century movements and ventures that use the power of participation to change the world. At Purpose she focuses on building the base and impact of organizations through strategic online campaigning. A French-Canadian Egyptian Montrealer, Marie-Marguerite specializes in translating campaigns to connect with culturally diverse populations. Prior to Purpose, MM spent years in international climate campaigning, creating an online sustainable development education program for civil society viewed in 45 countries and organizing Canadian youth. A Sauvé Scholar, she holds an MPA in Environmental Science and Policy from Columbia and a BA in Cultural Studies and Development from McGill University.
