A Senior Lecturer at the Department of Journalism & Mass Communication of the University of Westminster Her esearch focuses on the links between online tools and collective action, looking at processes of mobilization, organizing and solidarity-building. She is currently researching the role of the internet in economic justice activism, and the Occupy Movement in particular, in the USA and the UK.
